Utah SNAP

Utah Food Stamp Program (SNAP) provides monthly food assistance benefits to help low-income households buy the food they need for a well-balanced diet.

The program serves low-income families with children, older adults, people with disabilities, and working or unemployed individuals of all ages.

Most adult recipients who are not disabled, pregnant, or otherwise exempt must register for work and have an approved employment plan with the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) to continue receiving SNAP benefits. 1
