Idaho SNAP

Idaho SNAP helps tens of thousands of Idaho families put healthy food on the table each month — the majority of which are in families with children.

Eligibility and benefit levels vary based on household size, income, and certain other expenses. Generally, the larger the household size or the lower the income, the higher the benefit amount.

There is no time limit to how long a family can receive SNAP in Idaho. The two-year time limit that applies to other cash-assistance program (TAFI) does not apply to the food stamp program.
