Oregon Opportunity Grant
Oregon Opportunity Grant (OOG) is Oregon’s largest state-funded need-based grant program for financially needy college students.
The OOG is awarded first to undergraduate students with the greatest financial need, and the amount is determined by their Student Aid Index (SAI), the type of school they attend, and the number of credits they enroll in each term.
The current SAI limit for the 2024-25 academic year is $8,000.
For those with lowest SAI, the maximum award is $3,900 per academic year at an Oregon community colleges and $7,524 at an Oregon public university.
