Massachusetts MASSGrant Plus
MASSGrant Plus is made available to expand the legacy of MASSGrant and provide funds to some of the state’s neediest students.
MASSGrant Plus is only limited to students enrolling at one of Massachusetts’ 15 public community colleges. Awards will vary depending on student’s financial need made after EFC, grants and scholarships are factored in.

Who is eligible for Massachusetts MASSGrant Plus?
- Be a Massachusetts resident and U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be a student at one of Massachusetts’ 15 community colleges, and enrolled in a certificate or associate’s degree program
- Be admitted and enrolled either full-time (minimum 12 credits a semester) or part-time (minimum 6 credits per semester)
- Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA
How do I apply for MASSGrant Plus?
To be eligible for a MASSGrant Plus, you must complete your FAFSA no later than May 1. No additional application beyond FAFSA is required.
