Covered Connecticut

For families whose incomes are just above the limit for HUSKY Health and have not had access to affordable coverage in the past may qualify for a zero-premium, no cost-share coverage plan under Covered Connecticut  (Covered CT).

Administered by the Department of Social Services, Covered CT provides free health care coverage including dental care and non-emergency medical transportation benefits, to eligible adults and families within a specific income range.

What is the income limit for Covered CT?

Covered CT is available to parents and caregivers with a child under age 19 who have household incomes at or below 175% of the federal poverty level. For example, a family of three may qualify if their monthly income is $3,886 or less.

How to apply for covered CT?

Connecticut residents can apply and enroll if eligible, at any time during the year by completing an application through Access Health CT  or call (855) 789-2428 for free enrollment or eligibility.
