Families whose income is above the limit for HUSKY Health may qualify for a zero-premium, no cost-share coverage plan under Covered Connecticut (Covered CT).
Covered CT provides free health care coverage including dental care and non-emergency medical transportation benefits, to eligible adults and families within a specific income range.
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Connecticut resident between the ages of 19-64.
- Have a household income up to and including 175% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
- Must be ineligible for HUSKY Health due to income.
- Enroll in a Silver-Level Plan on the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange, Access Health CT.
Like HUSKY A, Covered CT offers $0 premiums and $0 out-of-pocket costs (no co-pays or deductibles) for covered medical services.
