Covered Connecticut

Families whose income is above the limit for HUSKY Health may qualify for a zero-premium, no cost-share coverage plan under Covered Connecticut (Covered CT).

Covered CT  provides free health care coverage including dental care and non-emergency medical transportation benefits, to eligible adults and families within a specific income range.

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Connecticut resident between the ages of 19-64.
  • Have a household income up to and including 175% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
  • Must be ineligible for HUSKY Health due to income.
  • Enroll in a Silver-Level Plan on the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange, Access Health CT.

Like HUSKY A, Covered CT offers $0 premiums and $0 out-of-pocket costs (no co-pays or deductibles) for covered medical services.

Connecticut residents can apply and enroll if eligible, at any time during the year by completing an application through Access Health CT  or call (855) 789-2428 for free enrollment or eligibility.
