LIHEAP Florida

LIHEAP Florida assist eligible low-income Florida households in meeting the costs of home heating during winter and cooling during summer.

LIHEAP may help pay your natural gas or propane bill only in the winter, if gas or propane are your primary source to heat your home. The program, however, doesn’t pay for water, sewer or telephone services.

If you need help paying your water bill, you may apply for Florida LIHWAP instead. Eligible households may get up to $1,000 within a 12-month period.
