Wisconsin FoodShare (SNAP) provides monthly benefits to families with limited income to help pay for the food they need for a nutritionally adequate diet.

The program serves low-income families with children, seniors, people with disabilities, and working or unemployed people of all ages.

How do I apply for food stamps in Wisconsin?

To apply for FoodShare, visit ACCESS website. Choose “Apply for Benefits”. This is the fastest and easiest way to apply for SNAP benefits in Wisconsin. ²

As part of the application process, a mandatory interview is required. You will be contacted to schedule one, which can be done over the phone or in person.
