FAFSA Deadline

The federal FAFSA deadline is June 30 each year but may differ from state to state, with the earliest on Feb. 15 in Connecticut.

FAFSA becomes available on October 1 and has an 18-month application cycle. The FAFSA deadline for the 2022—2023 is midnight, Central Time, June 30, 2022.

In addition to complying with the federal deadline above, students must also adhere to state financial aid deadlines in order to be eligible for state aid.
