Mississippi Medicaid

Mississippi Medicaid

Mississippi Medicaid is a health care program that helps pay for medical services for eligible, low-income residents, including children, pregnant women, the aged, and the disabled.

Coverage includes doctor visits, inpatient and outpatient hospital care, prescription drugs, lab and X-ray services, family planning, eyeglasses, and long-term care.

Mississippi remains one of the few states that has not fully expanded Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act to non-disabled adults.
