Kansas Medicaid: KanCare
KanCare, Kansas’s Medicaid program, provides health insurance coverage to low-income individuals, children, pregnant women, seniors, and people with disabilities.
KanCare delivers services through three specific Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) which coordinate care for nearly all beneficiaries statewide.
- UnitedHealthcare Community Plan
- Sunflower Health Plan
- Healthy Blue 1
During the enrollment process, you must choose one of the three MCOs. If you do not choose a plan, you may be automatically assigned to a plan.
