Single Mother Guide accepts a limited number of sponsored posts that provide useful, relevant information to our audience in the United States.

The price of a sponsored post is … per article.

All submissions are subject to our editorial guidelines and review process. Payment does not guarantee publication.

How it works

  1. Tell us about your post.
    Submit the topic and a description of at least 100 words: the main points, who it helps, and the links you plan to include.

  2. We review your idea.
    If the topic fits our guidelines, we’ll email you a Stripe payment link. If it doesn’t, you pay nothing. Topic approval is not article approval: the final article must match the topic you proposed.

  3. Send the final article.
    After payment, Stripe sends you to a page where you submit your completed article in .mdx format. We’ll review it and may make minor editorial edits before publication.

  4. We publish or refund.
    If your article meets our editorial standards, we publish it as a Sponsored post. If it does not meet our standards, we’ll refund your payment in full.

Rules

  1. Up to 2 links per post
    Each sponsored article may include a maximum of two links. Every sponsored post is clearly labeled Sponsored, and all sponsored links use rel="sponsored".

  2. Submit your article as an .mdx file
    Please submit the article in Markdown format with an .mdx extension.

    If you don’t have an .mdx file, you can write or paste your article into Word or Google Docs and convert it to Markdown using a free tool such as Word to Markdown . In Google Docs, you can also use File → Download → Markdown (.md), then rename the downloaded .md file to .mdx.

  3. Topics must be relevant to single mothers
    Articles should provide useful, practical information about topics such as government benefits, grants, child care, housing, education, employment, health, or personal finance.

  4. Prohibited content
    We do not accept articles promoting adult content, gambling, payday or high-interest loans, cryptocurrency, or services that charge applicants to apply for grants or government benefits.

  5. Editorial approval is required
    We review every submission and decide whether it will be published. Payment covers editorial review and a potential listing; it does not guarantee publication or placement. If the finished article differs from the approved topic, we may decline it and refund you in full.
