  3. Be admitted in accredited private, nonprofit colleges and universities in Virginia pursuing an eligible degree that is not in religious training or theological education

How much is the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant? #

The award amount is based on the number of eligible students and the availability of funds. Based on recent funding thresholds, the maximum award for both undergraduates and graduates in a campus-based degree program is $5,000 per academic year.

How do I apply for Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant? #

To be considered for VTAG, you must complete and submit your application to the financial aid office of the institution before July 31 prior to the fall semester of enrollment but no later than December 1.
