Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG) program provides grant money to Ohio students who demonstrate the highest levels of financial need.
Eligibility is limited to those with an EFC (Expected Family Contribution) of 2,190 or less AND a maximum household income of $96,000.
Award amounts range from $256 to $3,500 annually based on student’s enrollment status and the type of institution the student is attending.
Eligibility Requirements #
- Be an Ohio resident and U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Be enrolled at least quarter time as an undergraduate student
- Be admitted and enrolled at eligible Ohio public and private colleges or universities
- Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA
How to Apply? #
To be considered for OCOG, you must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by October 1 of each year.
